Forrest Estate Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

Region: Marlborough Valley, New Zealand

Variety: Sauvignon Blanc

The lifted aromas of this pale yellow coloured wine offer lemon thyme, black currant, elderflower, a hint of passion fruit and a mineral aspect reminiscent of wet stones. Citrus and white flower aromas on the palate combine with this minerality reflecting the Wairau Valley’s stony riverbed. Full body and long lingering finish. A Sauvignon Blanc that has been created to flourish with time.

Arriving in the first wave of European settlement of Marlborough, the Forrest family has farmed the land for generations. Drs John and Brigid Forrest began creating their wines here in 1988.

John brings scientific discipline to winemaking, innate creative flare and an exuberant personality – blending art and science to make wines of the highest quality and purity.

The wines have given Forrest an enviable international reputation.

John and Brigid remain hands-on, are passionate about their wines and enjoy creating wines for you that are QUINTESSENTIAL MARLBOROUGH. That individual expression of style is the trademark of their wines - rich aromatic white wines, and powerfully scented reds - all impeccably structured and a joy to drink.
