Ulrich Langguth Fern Label Riesling

Region: Mosel, Germany

Variety: Riesling

With lifted aromas of lemon and lime and delicate floral perfume in support, this zesty fruit bomb of flavour is delightfully fresh and appealing and with a sprinkling of minerality and bone jarring acidity.

The present Ulrich Langguth wine estate in Traben-Trarbach on the Mosel was founded in 1921 after brothers Franz and Ulrich Langguth decided to divide their inheritance.
The estate, with vineyards near the wine villages of Enkirch, Traben and Piesport, is located in one of the most beautiful regions of Germany, in the heart of Rheinland-Pfalz. Riesling vines have been grown, in some cases for more than 1700 years, on steep, south or south-west facing slopes where they are exposed to a maximum of sunlight.
Today, the wine estate is owned by Ulrich Langguth, son of an old wine producer family which has been in the wine trade for more than 250 years. The wine production is supervised by his sons, Markus & Patrick Langguth.
